Ive honestly worn fingerless gloves with gel padding on the palms and kevlar knuckles for as long as I can remember
When I wear Gauntlets I feel completely restricted and I cant feel anything.
I only wear Gaunlets in the winter, but now that I have heated grips I may not even do that!

So many people and so many different preferences. It is very interesting to me finding out what each person likes and dislikes and why. I tried gel palm gloves and hated them. I really felt disconnected from the bike and the controls. I use leather gloves year round but i wont wear heavy gloves at all till it gets down to about 20 degrees. I really dont like those but in the 20s i have to start using them.

There are several companies that make them, some better than others. If we had real winters, I'd get a pair. But between the heated grips, my everyday gloves, and hand guards I'm good down to about 40°. And with the exception of a week or two in January and February, that's about as cold as we get.
