Funny thing - the Trekker 46L actually has smaller overall dimensions than the V46 if the website data is correct. It does look bigger on the bike though, probably due to the squareness of the box.

Nice looking ride... That case does look big on the bike, to me. Maybe it is the camera that makes it look that way? How much smaller is the E460? If you have seen one.
Thanks
Just as an FYI the Givi E460 is a 46 liter case. So that would be 9 liters less than the Givi E55N case

Can you tell me how much visually bigger the 55, 52 and 46 cases are. I like your 52, but don't want, or need something so huge it looks out of place.

Jim
Just to add, I will carry a netbook, shirt, gerbings, gloves, hat, glasses, ect. I will use this like my trunk on my wing. I lived out of that while on the road. Everything else stays packed unless of an emergency.

I cannot think of any quatitative way to evaluate the sizes of the trunks other than to just give you the volume of each and basic dimensions.... If you are just carrying the items listed the 48 liter Coocase would be the right choice. I might even go out out on a limb and say that you could stuff a helmet in there with the other stuff as well. If you wanted to be sure though then go a little bigger with the 52. The 55 is only 3 more liters but somehow seems like a whole bunch more volume. I have the 48 liter Luxury Coocase on my Yamaha FZ1 and it is plenty for me.
  • Coocase S48 - 22.7"w x 12.3"tall x 17.3"front-to-back
    Capacity: 48 Liters
  • Givi E52 Maxia - 23" wide x 11.5" tall x 16.8"front-to-back
    Capacity: 52 Liters
  • Givi E55 Maxia3 - 23.2" wide x 12.3" tall x 18.9"front-to-back
    Capacity: 55 Liters

Sorry I wish I had images that were a little better for the sake of comparison.
