Quick question: Does the Givi SRA2101 top case mount fit a 2015 S10? All I've found online is that it fits gen 1 bikes. Did anything change with the gen 2 Tenere's for this top case mount not to fit my bike?

You'll need the original Yamaha top case fitting kit (If you don't already have the Yamaha top case) To fit the SRA2101

Otherwise this bolts straight on...

Givi SR 371

If you go to the Givi instructions page it's explains it.

For some reason my computer won't let me copy and paste anything... Kids have been using it..

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking to get either a Givi or Kappa top case, and just had that questions about the case mount fitment before ordering.

No problem with fitting bur take care when you choose. The SRA2101 has a 6Kg load rating, the SR371 a 10 Kg rating. The former looks neat, but with a limitation, the latter OK but I don't think it is in production currently although still available. Plenty of alternatives out there, usually more expensive, such as Altrider.

Looks like the SR371 mount is compatible with brake light kits, whereas the SRA2101 is not. Does anyone have experience of brake light kits and top cases?

Yes I do. Frankly they are a bit crude. Firstly you tap into the brakelight circuit to take power up to the SR371 top plate. Knock out a hole for the contacts. Then it's onto wiring up the interior of your Monokey Box, contacts in the base up to lighting inserts up top. In fairness they work just fine, just not particularly elegant, but maybe that's just me. If needed, I think an LED light bar just under the rack would have more impact.

I see what WJ says with regard to Revzilla's website - I think they are wrong, but I can't find the evidence at a quick glance. Maybe someone with an SR371 can confirm - there should be a black on silver sticker on the rack with the max loading.
