Givi SkidPlate

Does anyone out ther have any experience with the Givi skid plate ?
Thinking of the RP2119 for my 2014 non-ES

I've seen Givi skid plates on other models but not the S10 yet. I have to say they look decorative rather than protective. I guess it depends what you want...

For the price it is decent protection & handles off road use just fine. Mounts up easily with brackets in front & rear. I have scuffed mine a few times at low speed on wash outs & large rocks but, has not disfigured the plate. If your just looking to thrash your S10 through massive terrain and/or go airborne, then you may want a more heavy duty (possible steel, not aluminum) plate. All depends on the severity of riding your going to do.
