I currently have the Givi E41s and E52 on my V-Strom. Just wondering if anyone has mounted them on a Super Tenere. I know, they might not look the part :( but if I re-use my bags it would certainly help financially. Anyway, if anyone has the same mounted on their Sup Ten, could you post some picture?

I have the SW-MOTECH rear rack and you can purchase an adapter to work with the Givi monokey cases. The adapter uses the 1/4 turn screw locks. The advantage of that is when you aren't running the top box, you have a flat surface for the luggage rack area however, the negative is I don't know how strong those 1/4 turn screws are. The appear to be very solid but if you are doing much off road riding, I'm not sure how strong they'll be. Other racks, like the alt rider one, are predrilled to accept an adapter kit from givi and you loose the adapter plate. That will be much more secure but that's just an assumption on my part, I have no proof that one option is better than the other.

I bought a V46 for this bike and had an old 52 Maxxi on the FJR. After commuting with the 46 twice, I'm selling the new bag with the FJR and keeping the 52 for the Super-T.

It's not the 6 liters, it's the shape. In the 52, I can put my helmet, gloves, jacket, and rain suit. My big laptop bag will fit in the 52, along with other goodies, but I need to get picky when using the 46, so it was a shock to see how much less usable space is in the 46.

Looks-wise, once you have a tailbox as big as the 46, the 52 doesn't look much different.
