I recently swapped out a National V Stream for the Givi Airflow.

Initial impressions are that I like the Givi a bit better.

The VStream definitely had better shoulder protection, but I got a head bobble out of it every now and then that really got annoying. I also didn't like how much the V Stream was in my line of sight when the going got tight and technical.

The Givi works excellent for head management. I rode home in the rain, and after sitting at a light I had to move my head to the side to actually get the rain to blow off my visor. The air is that still behind the Air Flow. I really like how easily it drops out of the way when I want it to.

I'm hoping I can use just the bottom portion in the summer. I might paint that part black to lessen the visual impact.

Very happy with my Givi. Thought it looked a little hokey when I first saw the pictures, but decided to give it a try after discussing similar screens with a few GS riders. It does a great job of getting the wind noise and turbulence over my head (6'5" / 35" inseam), and I can easily lower it when spending time off road.

Both shields provide clean airflow and no buffeting. Parabellum feels smoother and keeps the wind off my shoulders. I plan to use this one for highway rides. Givi works great for my head, but I feel more wind on my shoulders. I will use this in summer and like that I can lower it for hot weather. Givi does look funky. Ecu done, next mod will be suspension.

I have had Parrabellum's on all my bikes. Very affective with the wind, in the summer months, it can be a bit too affective, but with an adjustable bracket, that negates the issue. I really like my 22" on the Tenere

Hello. I use the airflow in kombination with adjustable bracket from Touratech ( on wich I had to replace the screws as they wouldn´t stay on  ) This takes away alot of buffeting, but I allmost allways keep it in the lowest position because there are so much wind here. Also in high speed it doesn´t feel so steady. Once I had a loose "wing" on another bike come of at 150 km , hitting my visor so I´m a bit weary of that...Maybe to much so :-\ In the high position it´s allso a bit to narrow I think and the wind passing on the side hits both shoulders and the sides of the helmet. Pretty noisy..The Parabellum sounds interesting..I´m 6,1 but with pretty short legs wich means long torso, so maybe I should try the 22 inch. Any meanings on how it works in higher speeds ? What´s the limit? ::26::

I have the 22", and haven't had any issues with buffeting or shoulder wind. I am 6'1" with a 32" inseam, and stout (fat). :) Seriously though, I keep the windshield at the lowest setting and almost vertical on the Madstad, and it has always been rock solid. Even in the hellish crosswinds of West Texas while passing semi 's rigs. It's also quiet enough to listen to my music with the face shield open, or have a conversation on the BT.

Wow, that sounds very promising. I´ll now see if I can find it in Europe or if I have to send for it in the States. (maybe consult this guy ::016::)

I have not tried any other types of screen on my S10, so I can only comment on the Givi Airflow I have just fitted in place of the standard screen.

I decided on the Airflow as I favoured effectiveness over looks.
Using the venturi effect of the two screens made sense to me, I like the idea of having an overall lower screen height whilst still getting the same protection of a taller single screen, however I wasn't a fan of the looks.

The venturi is very effective, I am 5' 10" and ride with the seat on high setting, I have the upper screen about 1/2 way on the rails and the wind clears the top of my helmet by about an inch.
It's a bit wider than standard too. Visor up at 80 mph no problem. ;D

I am very impressed with the Airflow and I'm glad I chose to buy one. ::008::
It even looks ok in the flesh, especially if it's only partially extended.

I have the 22" Parabellum.
High quality screen & good fitment.
But I thought it was only good until I fitted the MRA X-Creen spoiler, now it is great!
If I had the choice again I would go for the 24", I`m 5' 11"

I have the 24" Parabellum and I'm very happy with it (I'm 6'0") I would like it to be 1 inch taller, 2 inches I think would be too much and force me to look through the screen ALL the time. I am considering the MRA spoiler to give me that extra inch and then several extra inches when in the cold and on the freeway (when doing aggressive riding I like to see over the screen).

Thats the spoiler that came loose for me and hit me in the head. Have a good loock at the joints and how they are held in place with little plastic pieces ::) That constructio needs reconsidering IMO

Well, might have been I was unlucky or my clumsy fingers are to blame..What they told me when I complained at the store was that I was crazy going in exess of 150km/h with it on. Picked it up from the highway and still have it laying around somewhere minus plastic little things. If you look at the MRA when it comes as hole unit, the construktion is different. The function is good I think. Had one (the hole one) on a 900 diversion some years ago and thought it worked fine. Maybe I should try and fix my own arms for it... For me the best angle was having it with the lower edge turned against the wind and the top edge in line with screen top edge. Pretty much the same principle as for the airflow I guess. As I remember it, the gap between shield and wing was much narrower when it came premounted
By the way, Red dust, where you living in Gothenburg at some time ?
