Givi Accessory Bar

I just recently received my Givi topcase and along with it came a product catalog. I started looking through it and saw that they have an accessory bar that basically replaced the top piece of the handlebar clamp with a new piece that has a stalk and bar attached. Even on Givi's site the don't have a pic but I found some online. The catalog only lists it for the '14 S10 (and I'm assuming the '15) with part # 01SKIT (the overall product code is S900A). Anyone see these before?

Don't these bikes come from the factory with a bar to mount gadgets

the 2014+ bikes do but it's relatively small in diameter so mounts aren't easy to find. Plus some would prefer the mount to below the dash.

I was wondering about that. Not familiar enough to know much yet.
Do y'all have any use for that factory bar?

The factory bar is small in diameter. I thought about mounting my GPS there but it is too far away to be of much use. I made a small platform and mounted it to the bar for my GoPro camera.
