Hello and greetings from a Bulgarian in Kuwait! I recently became the proud owner of an almost brand new 2023 S10 and I have a lot to learn about this wonderful machine. I figured this would be the best place on the internet for that. I've been riding pretty much every day since 2013 and I've been blessed to own numerous bikes of all types over the years. Some of these bikes include a 2014 and 2017 Honda NC750X, 2011 Yamaha R1, 2016 KTM 1050 ADV, 2016 Kawasaki ZX14R (two of them), and a 2016 Suzuki Boulevard M109R. I've even managed to participate in and win a couple of moto skill rodeos.
I've always enjoyed working on my bikes, basic things, nothing exciting, but this year I decided to take it up a few notches and get into more complex tasks like electrical and wiring, which I knew nothing about up until a month ago. The only way I learn is by getting my hands dirty and fixing all my (usually expensive) goof ups. Apart from poorly wired auxiliary lights (wasn't me) and some engine guards, my bike is currently stock and I have a few mods coming soon which are a short windscreen, a power distribution module, an Interphone Sync55 for Android Auto, USB chargers, and a better hard luggage solution for commuting. Some later mods might include a T-Rex bash plate, foldable mirrors, Barkbusters, and maybe even an auxiliary ABS kill switch but I'll have to plan this one carefully.
In the not too distant future, I hope to travel around the world with my S10, while trying to manage life getting in the way. In the meantime, I'd to learn as much as I can, and maybe one day become proficient enough to contribute using said knowledge, ideally without breaking too many parts and/or bones.
