Ceebaileys is like $60, I really want this as I think it would work better than the screen style I just dont know about the $ 162 shipped, that is a little hard to choke down.

I think it was $145 TTL in Loonies, which may be more than US these days. I worry about the C Baileys attachment for rough road durability . But it's a real good price

What does C Bailey charge for shipping? I think it was somewhere near $20. I tried to contact them three times and never heard from them. I was also considering their windshield.

Cee Bailey response is spotty. When you reach them they are regular folk and try to help though Tomato.

I have their windshield, wing wings and headlight cover. Well fit, high quality materials, and very functional. No way that headlight cover will fall off. You will understand when you install one but can remove if necessary, though never have needed to.

They had a special price on combo deals for parts and also shipping if you call them, they usually call you back in three days.

I want a guard for my headlight but have a hard time spending $150 for the yamaha guard but think the cee baileys attachment using velco looks very cheap. Especially on a $15,000 motorcycle. Someone help me! :(

Joe, I have the Cee baileys on mine and I think it looks good. You can't really tell it is there unless you look for it and the plastic is of a very good quality.
I would buy it again without hesitation.

I have the Cee Baileys as well. I certainly didn't want to spend the big $$ for the Yamaha version. It looks good and the small 3m discs are amazing with the holding power. No concerns but have not taken it off yet. Very high quality plastic.

I had them on one of my FJRs and just saw DCRider's Super Tenere with them. The fit well and look great.
The mounting extensions for the OEM Yamaha cover look worse to me much more than the industrial velcro tabs.

What about heat building up? Is there enough clearance to keep the headlights cool(ish)?
