My Givi case and Tech Spec pads came in today! ::015::

I had some poor individual steal my phone charger off the S10 yesterday... Tonight I am just gonna hard wire one on. Free up the power port for something else then.
I've been around for more than half a century, and I still can't get my head around someone just walking up to your bike and TAKING a phone cable because they simply want it. They can have it just because they want it?

Wonder if they would have taken it if it were black?

One thing that I did not even think about was the operation of the Yamaha side cases with the Trekker top case installed. The 46l Trekker over hangs the Yamaha cases too much. not allowing you to open them. I have to either take the Trekker off, or take the side case off. Oh well, minor details.

Isn't it sad?

Will the 46l Trekker top case allow any other make of side case to open, when it's in situ? :-[

Any feedback would be appreciated.

My Happy Trail Tetons are 22" from inside to inside of the box. This is with the grab handles still in place. The lids open to the outside. The top of the lid rack is just above (real close) and parallel to the bottom of the pillion seat. http://www.happy-trail.com/Yamaha-XT1200z-Super-Tenere/Aluminum-Panniers-Teton.aspx I haven't seen these with a Trekker box on top but, I can't help but think they'll clear... The other top/side hinged boxes should too, like the Jesse's...

That's not nerves. That's excitement and anticipation!
I know that feeling. Ain't it great? :)

Few months back the wife and I got on a 747 and flew to Australia. It was HER idea for me to go there and rent a bike and ride for 2 weeks.

So I know what you THINK is "nervous". But it's something else. Enjoy that part too.

And don't over-plan. Just ride. :)

I'll shut up now and let you take back over. Lol

I have the full givi setup with the 46 on top - i almost guarantee you'll have problems if your side cases hinge open toward the bike on the lid. you won't have any problems opening them if they open to the side.
