How thick is the insulation on the palms?
Can you still "feel" the controls ok?

I have throw down heated grips. (The Aerostich ones that just Velcro on) Love them. Rarely need them.
Would probably rarely need these. But if they aren't overly insulated in the palm, they would be nice for staying dry on a chilly rainy commute?

They work well with heated grips.
