I bought the bike with them on in February. Had 1200 miles put on them and I pulled them off as they are mostly a road tire. Located near Rockford IL... Except I am taking a fast road trip to Norman and Stillwater Oklahoma then back to Rolla, MO then back home. Leaving 2 pm Sunday the 26th and returning by the following Wednesday. Anywhere along the route I can meet you and they are yours. I was going to use them but I am about to put them in the barn and I know I won't use them as I got other bikes for road trips that don't involve dirt. Only I said it was a fast trip so I don't want to sit at a meeting location waiting for 30 minutes. Please be punctual! 20231125_201144.jpg

I’m in the St. Louis area and can meet you if Tenforeplay‘s 1st request doesn’t work out. I’m guessing you are taking I-39 south to I-55, I-55 south to I-255 around St. Louis to I-44 and on to OK.

I may be able to help you out. Im in Lawrence ks, how close does your route come to this?
The closest to Lawrence is when I pass through Joplin, MO. That's a 6 hr round trip for you. Up to you but that's a lot of time and gas. If you pass on them I will set something up with whisper.

If it doesn't work out with either Whisperquiet or Tenforeplay, I am interested. I live in northern Illinois about 45 minutes from Rockford.

how has the weather been on your speed run tenereguy?
Started out in snow and in 2 hrs it was mostly done. Then a stiff head wind all the way to OKC(~ 900 miles) At 80 to 85 I was making 16 mpg. I was happy with that. Temp 35F at 0300 when we got there. Sunny next day and 53. After touring OU we went to OSU in Stillwater, OK and brisk at night but sunny and it got up to 64F today! Then while going back to Rolla, MO today had a slight tailwind and at 80 mph the truck was making 19 mpg through the Ozarks. Low of 34 tonight and a high of 59 tomorrow... but then it's time to head up to Northern Illinois... heard it's been cold up there. Oh! Low of 17 up there and a high of 38. In the mid 20's when I get there but a 7 mph tailwind! Smooth sailing. Only one concern because my truck threw a check engine light and a message. In 175 miles top speed will be 65. And it goes down from there to limp mode after so many more miles. Limp mode has no power at all. I stopped by an AutoZone and found out it was an EGR code. My OBD reader was at home. So I bought a better one and reset and erased all codes and it hasn't come back. Keeping my fingers crossed. I also put some really good B&G cleaner in the tank to try and get rid of any carbon or soot build up. After campus tour and some other meet and greets in Rolla tomorrow we head 410 miles to home. Fingers crossed. I scheduled my truck in to fix this emissions problem. This is the 2nd time it caused problems. 1st time was on a dark night in Eastern Pennsylvania trying to get to my friends house to ride for 5 days in late fall. Went to limp mode... it was awful. Injector for the DPF was not working. Covered under warranty. This EGR replacement is almost $400 for the part from AZ and not from a shop with labor. Book says to raise cab or lower engine!! Saw a YouTube video showing not necessary... but the book time will include that labor! It's all going away. I'm done with it. Perfectly good truck and will run all day long but it puts me in limp mode in the middle of nowhere... !!!!+$#%&*^^+×/=. Full delete kit with some other goodies for longevity on the fuel delivery side.
My son loved being out on OSU football field. (His team just won 3A championship 2nd time in 3 yrs. Middle year they lost in the semifinal game) he'd love to play there but at 6'2" 250# he isn't Div 1 size. #7920231124_161142.jpg

You should ride by next summer and we could ride somewhere. I was thinking of hosting a RTE. I have room for camping and local hotels. I could BBQ something. Try to grow it every year! Then maybe even head out to do the Wisconsin BDR... being retired is GREAT!

He is a lineman. He is thinking about walking on somewhere. I believe there are non D1 schools that want him. He has some deciding to do.

I HAVE OWNED FORDS... but I prefer Chevrolet. I looked at new Ford SD but it didn't make over 17 mpg on the power stroke. .y Chevy does way better than that.
