I had completely forgotten about the course. I'll get in touch with them, and see what they say.
Let us know how you get on, I was expecting an invitation as well

The only thing that has narked me so far about ownership is the total lack of interest from Yamaha UK in my purchase. I received the breakdown card and a questionnaire and that was it. You'd think that spending so much money in this economy would get you a few goodies, but no. It does make me wonder what kind of service i could expect from them if things went wrong..

Hello again,

I have received a confirmation from Yamaha that you are indeed entitled to a day out with us.

I have provisionally reserved a place for you on the 17th September, if you would be kind enough to confirm that you still want it, I will then send a copy of details of the day and how to find us.

Regards,

Jane Jones

Cheers Dave + co. Jane sent me an email confirming courses for me today. I can't make it this month due to work, so i'm hopeful of the 5th of October.

Looks like the Tenere days are specific. The only 2 left are Monday and the 24th. I can't make either. Shame. Hopefully they'll be running them next Spring.

Had a nice letter of apology from Yamaha UK. The dealer was supposed to send in a confirmation letter, which they forgot. Hope you guys have a lot of fun. Take some pictures..

had an amazing day out in wales, im absolutely gob smacked at how the big 1200 handles off road, i was riding this bike through motocross terrain flawless behaviour from her, it was inspiring and gave me so much confidence in the bike. yamaha lent us there bikes so i didnt have to bash mine up lol. i would never treat my own bike like i treated this one 8)

Great post, Spasm. Great pics. Thanks for doing that. Yes, it's always nice to abuse someone else's bike, just to see what it will do. Especially a blue one. Well done. R

Boy I wish Yamaha would do that here in the states. That looks like a blast! Thanks for sharing your pics.

BTW, I am glad they used the superior blue bikes....

AKA ... the ones left over that didn't sell. Understandable. I just hope it doesn't put potential buyers off. ::014:: R

Nah they chose the much more reliable blue bikes as they can withstand the abuse, unlike the frail black ones. ;)
