When changing fork springs, or simply changing the fork oil (is it ever 'simple?), do I need to use the OEM spring compressor, or can I get the job done an aftermarket, such as Traxxion Dynamics, Progressive or Motion Pro? I think I've read where the OEM screws into the spacer...but if you use some aftermarket springs, you discard the spacer (which make me wonder how you put things back together?).
