Twice my front shocks have started leaking after repeatedly driving through construction zones where the bike wound up coated in wet pulverized clay which then dried. The first time it happened I had resigned myself to getting the seals replaced however I skeptically tried the Seal Mate tool and it was successful in stopping the leak. The Seal Mate tool now lives with the other wrenches in the side compartment under the fairing. I don't know if Seal Mate invented the tool but I was happy enough with the results that I bought a couple more to have and to support a small business.
