For sale is a Seth Laam Custom seat for the Yamaha Super Tenere. If you go through Laam you will experience quite a wait because he uses your stock seat pans. This seat(s) cost me $400 plus shipping. I am asking $359.99 . So, you can save time and money(10%) if you purchase from me. I rode it a thousand miles at the most and it is in excellent condition. If you put it side by side with a new one you could not tell the difference. Includes the driver and passenger seats. Far and away more comfortable than the stock seat, period! It is the vinyl asphalt which is a charcoal color. The stitching is grey. In my opinion it would fit nicely with your Tenere, regardless of it's color. I am selling it because I traded my Tenere on a new Versys 1000.
I am charging $75 shipping to anywhere in the lower 48. Contact me for overseas shipping. That is what it cost me to have it shipped from California to my home in Kentucky. If the shipping turns out to be less I will reimburse you the difference. I don't look to make any money on shipping...just what it cost me.
It fits the 2014, 15, and 16 Teneres but I don't know about the ones prior.
I have tried to post pictures but cannot....for some reason. If you are interested, shoot me your email and I will get them to you. Also, it's for sale on Ebay(item 152122338343) and you can see the pictures there.
Please contact me if you need additional information.
Thank you for looking and good luck.........greg

NOMB, but check with the post office, you should be able to send it coast to coast with USPS for half that amount.

I haven't had any offers on the seat so am thinking i may have it priced too high....not at all sure. I think I'll drop the price to $325 plus shipping just for this forum. Maybe someone will be interested at that price. Yes, it is a really great seat. I will be glad to work with anyone on getting it shipped as cheaply as possible.

Was this seat customized for your weight and/or preferences? I'm not sure how Laam builds.

My specific questions in comparison to a stock rider seat are:
Height
Width
Firmness of seat foam
type of material on top and sides (gripper, carbon fiber, vinyl, etc.)
top surface smooth or pleated? If pleated is stitching grey same as the seams?

The Ebay link with photos answered all my questions but one.

Firmness of seat foam? And a way to gauge it would be what weight of rider was it custom made for? I'm looking for a very firm seat compared to the stock softie.
