I really love this accessory - if you ever want to hook one up, I can tell you where to spice into the light harness on the 2012 Tenere. Under the blue upper cowling (right side), at the far top fwd, there's a boot covering several connectors. The one you need has 4 wires, which go to the lights - larger blue, larger pink (these are the ones you tap) and smaller green and smaller black. Then you can double stick tape the tranmitter to the ledges just under that.

It's nice to flash your lights to enter the garage without removing gloves etc. etc.

Anybody have pictures of this connector on a 2014?
DUH. Just did it and I did not take a pic either. However a 2014 has 6-8 wires. Made sure it was the right connector by disconnecting it and starting. No lights put it back and lights.

I know it sounds too simple, but programmable keychain type openers can be bought for most garage doors openers and they cost less than the flash to pass devices. I simply have one of thees in my sleeve pocket.

I just keep my spare door opener remote in my jacket pocket...took the visor clip off it....I can push the button through the fabric....Works perfectly....no wiring involved. But to each their own...

Same here. My front left bottom jacket pocket. I tap the opener thru the fabric with my left hand as I am approaching my garage and it is open as I drive up.

I already had the Flash2Pass system already set up for my other bike after loosing a couple of transmitters on the road somewhere. It was a simple decision to just get another transmitter for me. I can confirm the larger pink and blue wires are also correct for a 2015 ES.
