mrpete64, there is a better chance of getting an XT 660 Tenere,
at your local dealer, in Canada and the U.S. than there is of getting a FJ 09 dual sport,
and by better chance, I mean none, zip, nada.....
I don't think the triple would be the ideal contender.
Conventional sump would mean it would sit very high in the frame to get clearance. It's also a revvier motor than the ST and the 7, so may not be as well suited to dp duty.
The 7 would be a better motor, but that one is a conventional sump as well.
