Picked it up on the way to work today

The tech had it on the center stand. I was a little concerned when I climbed on and found both feet were 3 inches off the ground.

After 59k miles on a V-Strom 650 I was a little intimidated by the S10. By the time I got the 26 miles to work I was almost as cumfortable with it as I am with the Strom. It really feels much smaller than it is. I'm not as smooth with the S10 as I am with the Strom but I think that's as much my fult as it is the bike needing broke in. We're a tad twitchie together. Can't tell much in 52 miles but this bike seems to be exactly as advertised. I'm sure we're going to get along famously.

Believe me you won't be disappointed. Just under 2000 on mine (Silver S10 1200) & am loving it. When I first rode of on mine it felt a bit big even though I previously had a Pan European ST1300 which I used to roll around, now I am sticking the Tenere into corners like a sports bike but with a better all round view. I find it very comfortable & certainly powerful enough for me. Just fitted a Remus end can which is not only much lighter than the stock item it also has a pleasing sound. Not too loud & just enough of a rumble. I have found it to be very firmly planted in wet or dry conditions & the only time it is heavy is when I pull it onto the centre stand. ::012::

LOL, I don't think anybodies feet touch when on the center stand. Go teeter-totter once and she'll rock off the stand. If you're quick you can roll away without touching down at all. Congrats on the new ride.

Just T mode. I haven't started fiddling with the fancy electronic stuff yet

PS. Has anyone else noticed that the headlight shadow on the road looks like an open mouth with fangs? :D
