First real ride

Took the Tenere out this morning for the first decent ride. Of the 20+ bikes I've had over the years I have to say this is my favorite. I was a bit nervous buying it because you can't test ride anything in Phoenix (dealers don't let you) and I had a DRS650 that I ended up really not caring for.

Can't wait for my side bags to come in. Still breaking it in, but the dash said I was averaging 38 MPG. FABULOUS!!!

My favorite time to ride is early weekend mornings when there's no traffic and nobody has woken up yet to give me something to do!

Congrats on your ST. i ride there a lot when I visit my brother and sister who live in Glendale. Wish I could rent one but they are not yet available, hopefully in due time they will have them for rent. AZ has some beautiful roads and scenery.

I enjoy the weekends as well and know just what you mean. I had not thought about, as was mentioned above, about being able to rent a Tenere in the future - lets hope it happens-!!!!

They have the GS 1200 for rent in many places and the V Strom too so maybe if there is enough interest, they will. Dont see why not. They cost less (than the BMW) to purchase and maintain for the rental companies
