Hi folks. Got my S10 on 13/01/12 and had my first two runs out this week covering nearly 500 miles. Now coming from Fjr/Bmw with a lot of protection I have noticed my ankles and lower legs a bit dirty. Now obviously I know there is little protection in the lower enf but do I have ti get used it or is there some after market bits to hrlp. I know this is a dorky question but perhaps everyone has thought thid and was afraid to ask. Anyway.

Welcome and congrats!

No, never thought about my boots getting dirty but perhaps a fender extender out front might help with mud and rain splash.

I couldn't figure out what the 13th month was.

No, it's just a dorky question. ;D

I think you just get some good boots to deal with it. But I don't like a bunch of add-ons on the bike. ::008::

Congrats on the new bike. You're going to love it. Yes, your shoes will be dirty, and sooner or later you'll learn to look at that dirt and smile. It's a visual reminder of how much fun you had on your last ride. Enjoy !!!
