Greetings everyone, I’ve been very busy lately, with the selling of my beloved Harley Davidson. To the new purchase of my wife’s new sweet ride- Mini Van. The sun has finally shined on this dog. Today I bought a Tenere!!!!!!! Finally after months of waiting, and hoping the bike would be here soon. Waiting for a test ride. To last minute scrabbling and dealing with jerks on craigslist, etc, trying to sell my HD. Finally today was the day, I signed the papers to finally get this bike. To enjoy the bike and its capabilities and experience what you all have been enjoying since you took delivery. To boldly go where I’ve never been before. Off the beaten path and finally onto some dirt, sand, mud, anything that gets in my way. Adventure awaits!
I wasn’t one that put money down. I was a scavenger. Looking at several dealerships that order the Tenere for the shop and backed out customer orders. I found what I wanted at the shop, I first laid eyes on the Tenere. The buying experience was quick, painless, as I dealt the roundhouse kick to any salesman’s face, “This place has one, if you don’t want to work with me, I’ll buy one over there.” “Well sir how about this to get your business.” Gets the every time. After about an hour and a half I am now the proud owner of a bike that sat on the showroom floor since its delivery in August, never ridden by anyone. I would say I am lucky because, I got everything I wanted; the right price and panniers.
I have the up most respect for those who put money down almost a year ago and I thank those who backed out for me to snap up your loss and my gain.
