After a great deal of deliberation, I just bought a '13 (white) that the dealership's owner had been riding. He only put 2k miles on it and since it was considered a demo and still "new", it was eligible for the 1200 bucks in accessories. So, in the long run, I saved about 2500 over a '14 model, got free panniers (and a couple of other goodies) with my $1200 AND got a four year warranty. For once, I feel like I got a pretty smokin' deal. ::012::
There's just too many great things out there that you can't get to vis pavement...thank goodness. I previously owned several bikes including a KLR and a Versys (and most recently a Harley, please don't judge me for this lapse in reasoning) but the Tenere has been the bike I've wanted since a year before its intro to the U.S.. Now, to map out a trip from AR to AK........soooooo happy right now.......
Oh, I forgot...it also came with the large OEM tank bag and a Two Brothers exhaust that sounds sweeeeeeet.
