'Fess up, did I buy your bike?

As I go over my new (to me) bike, and at the same time scour these forums for "collective wisdom", I'm only more convinced I've purchased someone's bike that was on here (pretty good chance, considering back in the day there probably wasn't anywhere else to be). So many things are upgraded on this bike, and I just confirmed that the "seat mod" has been performed, by shaving down the back four pads and putting soft velcro inside the seat hook to take up the slack.

One thing I can't figure out is the two holes drilled in the left smoke wind deflector, one 1/4" (now holding my TPMS monitor) and the other a 3/4" hole I can only imagine was for a driving light switch that is now removed. And may soon get replaced.

So 'fess up, if you owned a black 2012 ST, and from the scant paperwork I got, you might have been in TX? Bike is nicely farkled with Givi crash bars, Jesse luggage, a Givi V46 top box, a Madstad windshield bracket, Rox risers, wind deflectors, and probably more I haven't realized yet. I'd be curious to know if the ECU has been re-flashed, this bike hauls.

P.S. I'd really like to know what all the hot glue was for, I've been scraping that stuff off the front of the bike for days. Thankfully it doesn't leave any residue. ;)

Good point. I can get closer pics later today. Bike was sold to a gent who at the time lived in Clarksville, TN, I believe.

Some of these pics show the melting on the top of the meter cover from the hot glue gun - thankfully it's a $7.50 piece.

I think it's also got a SW-Motech crash plate?
