Does anyone have a source of the “speed nuts” that go behind the Allen bolts/nylon washers of the top fairings? I just bought 3 different sizes from a local store and none of them fit - the bolt is too big. Thanks!

I usually go to my Yamaha dealership for those specific things. When it’s the wrong parts it’s their problem, not mine.

For things like that, absent going to a dealership, I check with McMaster-Carr. All of the hardware in their online catalog have technical drawings that show the dimensions of the part. If you can check the measurements of the speed nuts that still remain on the bike, you can compare it to the ones that McMaster-Carr have available and check the fit before you buy. If you aren't familiar with McMaster, they have a bazillion different kinds of hardware like speed nuts.
