I just got off the phone with ET, after a few minutes I had an email with conformation of the extended warranty. Thanks for setting up this deal Bloodline!

Thanks Blood...spoke with ET today and completed the whole thing in 5 minutes. BTW, I'm not the original owner, but I transferred the warranty a few months ago in my name and no problems. Thanks again...

Bit the bullet on this investment just a second ago. ET was great to work with and made sure I let him know how much I appreciated him offering this deal to us. Called all my regional dealers and they chuckled at trying to match $414 for a four year YES...

Email verification with the new warranty cards arrived in my inbox before I was off the phone!

I worked with ET a few months ago, when I bought my S10 used. He emailed me the forms I needed, he stepped me through the process and even told me that I may need to get my bike inspected at a local Yamaha shop. I did as he instructed/advised me. Took it to the shop, they didn't inspect the bike even though they could have, and I had the extended warranty. I too am a happy camper.

I do understand that you can get them a little cheaper in a few other places, but personally, I'm willing to help out some that directly or indirectly helps the forum. Especially when you get excellent personal service. If I ever get down to ET's part of the states, I'm going to drop by his shop and say Hi.

I will probably be using the warranty in the near future as the knob on my rear shock isn't working. And I understand that they will replace the whole shock, and not just the knob (another thread).

Bloodline - Getting ready to pull the trigger on the extended warranty. A little different question, because of high mileage I trade my main bike every three years...is the pricing still offered and the same for less that a 4-year package? Will call ET tomorrow to take advantage....thanks for the hookup.

sorry, just saw this. Yes, pricing as listed on page 1 of this thread is still the same.

No problem. Figured I'd just go straight to the source. Talked to ET and picked up a 3 year extention with the price posted at the beginning of the thread. simple and painless. I appreciate the heads up on this.

Modified the first post.

All Yamaha machines, 900cc and up, are eligible for this warranty at the rates quoted on page 1.

Glad I stumbled on this thread. Factory warranty expires at the end of the month. My dealer wanted 690.00 + 43.82 tax for a total of 733.82 for a 4 year.
Just spent 5 min. with ET and have a 4 year card printed and in hand for 414.00 (no tax).
Covered for 4 years and saved 319.00.
Today is a good day!

Thought I read that only FLA dealers can sell to someone wanting to have their bike repaired under warranty in FLA? Same for a handful of other states. Figured it was to prevent just this. But that doesn't make sense because if I travel to FLA I should be able to get it repaired there?

nah. Sit tight. We'll get to the bottom of this eventually.
