Finished up tooling for an extended front fender. Probably not real good for heavy mud, but will help keep front of bike alot cleaner in all other conditions. Our parts are built with woven glass and epoxy resin. No chopped strand fiber mat!!! Finished with a urethane primer ready to paint. Fender can be trimmed at rear to suit individual requirments. Part in picture is master mold was made from.

Fender looks great.
Going to be looking into trying to match the Yamaha blue and the new fender would be a good test subject. And yes a world crosser style front fork guards would be a good addition to the fender. :-\

Looks like there could be a clearance issue between fender and skid plate ?
I was told that you can't use the motec skid plate with the fenda extenda
so would this fender fit with out cutting ?

This fender is longer than a fender with fenda extender. I have no clearance issues with Yamaha pan. Do not know about motec. If there was a issue with the Yamaha plate the plate could be bend back behind fender. Maybe same for motec.

Looks good Dave. You might want to consider doing a "sawn-off" version to provide extra mud clearance. This is what they did on the World Crosser. Might be the best option to prevent the front tire plugging up, given that raising the guard is going to be tricky with those brake lines etc.

We or the end user can trim length of rear portion of fender to suit. Agree the long version could be an issue in mud.

No I mean the front of the guard - see on the Worldcrosser the "lip" is sawn off? That's something most people could do I guess, but might not be easy to do a neat job of it.

I see now. Looking at wrong end. We could do one like that.

Nice looking fender Z06! Looks like a good way to go for those that do not like the looks of the Fenda-Extenda option.
