I finally got the stock bars mounted up in the Rox 1 up and 1 back risers. So far this is the best combination I have found. The increased bar pullback and the 1" back from the risers eliminates a lot of the forward lean. I did find the motorcycle ergo website and saw that the S10 has a greater lean angle than the DL1000. With my bad back, this may be the issue. Curious to hear reports on how the 2" risers work out in the pulled back position with the longer brake and clutch lines installed. The price on the longer lines looks reasonable if this gets to a more upright riding position.

This evening I installed my 2" anti-vibration risers with Jaxon's long lines ... and my test ride around the neighborhood went well.

Previously, I was fully streched out - this feels a whole lot more comfortable, both sitting and standing. Looking forward to the morning commute and seeing if I can now actually countersteer ...

Dingo, are you happy with the Jax
on lines? I am planning to order.
Yes - very happy. I had my dealer install them at my 600 mile service and have had no problems at all. Plenty of length with my Rox Risers installed (no binding).

A couple of the guys off this forum saw them when we all rode with Hoebster a few weekends ago - they were impressed with the quality over stock.

Thanks Dingo. I spoke to Jaxon today and ordered a set for myself along with the Rox 2" adjustable risers.

Still waiting for my long lines from Jaxon but I put the rox 2" adjustable risers on and was able to tilt them back about half way without overstretching the brake or clutch line (brake is tighter). I am back to the stock Tenere bars. There is a noted improvement and I am hopeful it will get even better once I get the longer lines installed and the bars rotated back even further. My latest theory is that because of the uncomfortable seat, I am compensating (trying to get comfortable) with poor riding posture. For comfort. I want to sit back farther on the seat, but when I do this, it increases the reach to the handlebars. This is a factor in my ongoing back pain. Sure hope the Sargent seat comes out soon!
