65 degrees today so I enjoyed a 170 mile jaunt through the Texas Hill Country. Man I love this bike. I'm not normally a guy who pulls over for pictures but this mural in Bertram, TX seemed like a good exception.

Yeah, but in July & August....when we're 100 plus, and y'all are in the 70's, the shoe will be on the other foot. Now....if there was some way that I could afford a house in BOTH places....

I am certainly a fan of the engine bars on your Tenere and wish I could get them here in the UK. I have looked at there site and they also do a good bash plate I would like but I suspect the cost of shipping across the sea would be very high so I might have to look elsewhere.

I've just looked them up too. They look very substantial and the bash plate with its removable hatch to access the oil filter is a nice touch.

I'm down near Waco. The humidity here is not fun but it's nothing compared to Houston where I grew up. You wouldn't think it would be that different from there to here but I notice a huge drop in humidity here, and I'm grateful for it.

Yeah I'm sure the shipping would be pricey.... but their sales price is so reasonable that perhaps you'd come out ahead in the long run.
