Video link at bottom.

2014 with 5k miles - new to me.

4-5k rpm vibration in bars and gets more pronounced.

Can't replicate in neutral or rolling with clutch in - only under load.

Seems more prominent when ambient air temp is hotter - (notice it more after work than in the am)

Normal or a problem?

(I am gonna check throttle body sync when my Morgan Carbtune gets here in a couple days.)

Thanks in advance.

What bike are you coming from? The Tenere is a noisy beast, compared to pretty much any inline four. I didn't hear anything wrong with the video, but a lot of times, the video doesn't capture what your trying to replicate. To me the video sounded normal. We'll see what the others say.

Yeah, that could explain it. I've ridden on of those. Stupid fast, and relatively quiet. A 180 degree difference from the Tenere.
THe original S10 owner put on Arrow headers/exhaust, ECU flash, and PC 5 with auto tune adjustments. I guess my concern is that the mods are throwing something off. Bike only has 5k miles.

The first time I encountered a S10 and test drove it, upon startup I thought that I was listening to a Soviet era agricultural machine.

Yup, that'll do it. Bouncing that noise right back up at you. Like they said, she's gonna have some strange sounds. Mostly normal. If she starts doing weird things, that's when you worry. BTW, if you're going to change your own oil, she has two drain plugs. Both have to be pulled.

Changed the oil as soon as I got her home, along with clutch/brake fluid. Been procrastinating on doing coolant. 7yo/5k miles.

Many of us have lined the insides of our skid plates with Dynamat or similar. Really helps quiet the reflected noise and maybe provides a little layer of cushion should the plate ever be driven into contact with the sump.
