I wonder if this reflash beneficial for the 2014... Or should I say compatible?

Any of these have drive-in same day service. Seems like a good reason to ride LD. Sputter in butter out.

Been watching this thread and trying to decide if it should go to Tech Discussion or to Vendors. It was started by the vendor and should have originally gone there, but has migrated so much that it is now in Tech Discussions.

Tech Discussions will give longevity to the subject. I doubt Yamaha will ever make significant changes to the ECU so this subject should stay active for many years.

They still have some restrictions in 1st - 3rd, but much less than the earlier model, and they transition smoother so probably hard to notice, but they are there.

Having gone from a generic flash to a custom setup I would say if you can then get a custom setup, in the UK I know of one pace that you can ride in / ride out and have a full dyno setup with throttle maps, fuelling and ignition being optimised for each cylinder on the dyno.

Hi Fellow Riders I NEED Help. I sent my ecu into ECunleashed to have it reflashed. Got it back and the bike would not start. No fuel pump sound when key was turned. Turned out the US version of the flash was applied and I have a Canadian bike with a immobizer. Unleashed was great and quickly turned around a reflash with the immobilizer codes back into the program for me but again the bike will not start. The red light immobizer light flashes 3 long then 3 short and no fuel pump sound.

I am desperate to get the bike running but have no answers. Do I have to do something with the immobilizer? Not sure even sending the PC back and having the original program reinstalled will now fix this issue.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for chiming

You should have a procedure for re-registering your ignition key in your owners manual. You do have RED & Black keys?
