I have a 2014 S10 that just had the 600 mi service done.

When I was riding it home, I noticed the bike was smoother. Less jolting engine braking and less acceleration jolting.

Does anyone know if Yamaha is modifying the ECU to smooth things out on the first service? I don't see anything related to it in the repair order invoice that the dealer gave me.

BTW, for records, I paid $167.50 for the service, but there was no oil, oil filter, nor final gear oil done by the dealer.

Interesting, I did my 600 mile service myself. Oil , filter, and gear oil were about $80 for parts using the best synthetic. Hopefully I didn't start on the synthetic too soon. I would be interested to know what they did on the service visit.

I will say they did a carb sink .
Bwaaahaha! Wouldn't it help if the bike had 'carbs?'

...and it's sync, not 'sink.'
