I just installed a set of lowering links from an Ebay source located in England. (Vgoosey or something like that) Inexpensive at $35, well machined and quick shipping. Good, right? Nope...the center-to-center length was about 3mm longer than stock which dropped the bike about 5/16". Not the 1" I was looking for. Someone tell me if I'm wrong...

I raised the forks in the triple tree by 13.5mm
Measurement was taken with the bike vertical (front clamped in a Handy lift) and I used a reference point at the passenger's foot peg.
I'm going to call RideonAdv tomorrow and see if their links are longer. I'll keep you informed but any comments would be appreciated.
