Checkswrecks, i had a set of Avon Roadrider on mine. I destroyed the rear in 2000 mls. Had a 2 inch flat spot in the middle. Have heard of this a few times. Still have the front on with about 6000 mls still good.I have the very similar Avon Trail Riders. They are great in the rain, as road tires, and on most dirt roads & trails. Where they suck (no surprise) is in mud, deep gravel, and loose sand. If it's just a thin layer of sand on hard pack or on pavement, they are better than knobbies.
