Joining the forum from Driftwood, Texas. Just picked up a new 2021 S10 and am looking forward to some nice Hill Country rides, plus eventual long distance rides to far-flung locations, hopefully. Other bikes are a 2020 Triumph Thruxton RS and a 1985 BMW K100RS.

Welcome from Joshua. I didn't know where Driftwood was, but I learned it's right by Dripping Springs; home of Bassett Machine. They make a great M1a scope mount. My sons and I took a trip to Kerrville, and rode west out of town. Fantastic roads.

Madhatter: I will indeed watch for deer, I almost hit one on my bicycle just before dark last night. Due to the abundance of Hill Country deer, I usually limit my moto riding to when the sun is higher in the sky, both from the morning until early in the evening.

them bastards will appear out of no were 24/7 .... had 3 flash across my front last week in downtown Buda..... deer hunters are not doing their job.
