DR650 with Trail Tech rally headlight

I picked up this Trail Tech rally headlight from a gentleman in Australia over the winter on the DRRIDER forum. It was a good winter project. I had to fabricate the mounts to clear the fork lock/ignition switch. The light has a Hella H4 lense setup, a big improvement over the stock headlight. What do you guys think? Looks good! I bet an LED bulb would make it even brighter and save you some wattage.

Thanks Silver Bullet. The canister is an aluminum tube with some fly rod tube ends attached. One end has a screw off cap. I wanted a place to keep things like insurance cards, registration, keys and other small items. Yes, I've been thinking about upgrading to an LED bulb.

That is a really nice lighting setup. You can't beat TrailTech products. I currently have their stator, rectifier, and used a few of their temp gauges. Very reliable electrics.

I think the DR650 is a cool bike and I sometimes miss mine , but not the seat. butt starts hurting just thinking about a DR 650. cool light you got there .
