Double S-10 sighting, I-94 East in Michigan

Bumped into TWO S-10s, a black and a blue (blue was leading... ) in Michigan on I-94 east this past Friday on my way home from Chicago. Blue had Ohlins stickers on the fork tubes; both bikes looked like they were packed for a little trip. This was my first S10 sighting while out riding. ;D

Hey Chris!

That was me and ValpoFZ! ::022:: We both live in NW Indiana and we were headed up to Michigan for a weekend of off road riding and camping. A mini shakedown ride of sorts to prep for Alaska July 2013. (mostly just an excuse to get away ;D)

We ended up going all the way up to the Mackinaw bridge and since we were there we rode across. Had dinner in St. Ignace and then came back south a bit to camp. It was a great weekend. We rode lots and lots of gravel roads, dirt roads, seasonal roads, ORV trails etc. We had a few major pucker moments as a lot of the trails have areas of deep sand.

Anyways, I kept meaning to post something on here because I knew whoever it was we saw (you) was on the forum. The Die Hard sticker gave you away! ::001:: I was admiring your cases as well, I though long and hard about those before I ended up with the Jesse's. Hope you had a good ride, I know we did!

Awesome!! My ride back was paved the whole way, so definitely not as much fun as yours! I'd love to check out the UP and do some riding there. It's beautiful country.

Yeah, the UP of Michigan has lots of trails, which alot require the ORV sticker, then others are for snomobiles only!!! They don't even want ATV's on them

I might have a chance to get back that way again at the end of July, and will try to spend some time exploring the UP. It's toasty down here, so I'm looking north.
