Well today me and buddy took a little trip SW of Oklahoma City just to put some miles on our bikes. Found some good roads and the weather was great, no hail storms and no tornado's, we are sick of bad weather down here. All was going well until I saw a Great Pyrenees mix standing beside the road. I could hear my inner voice saying "Please don't be a caser" it was. I kept my speed steady (45mph) and kept my line and here he comes right into my front wheel and then into my crash bars. My second thought to self was " I wonder if this safety gear is as good as the salesman told me". The Lord was watching over me never lost control and no damage to me or the bike, can't say the same for the dog. The Tenere held it's line and never missed a beat.

I am so thankful that I am okay and was able to enjoy the good weather and a wonderful ride with a fellow Tenere owner.

Best thing I've found to deal with dogs is to vary your speed ALOT, screws up their intercept angles. IE hard brake followed by a handful of throttle.
