Does Traction control make other changes?

While doing some street riding yesterday on my Gen 2 I switched my traction control from TC1 to TC2 while riding in Touring mode. It seemed to me that the throttle became more responsive and I detected a different sound from the exhaust. Overall it seemed to be a lot more fun to ride. Has anyone else experienced this or is my mind playing tricks on me?

I am not sure what it does, but I really enjoy riding mine on tarmac with the traction control turned off, it just seems to ride better (engine rune better) and be more fun to ride.. would be interested in hearing what the others have to say

It only make a change, if you in TC1 drive in a way, that would have made the rear wheel spinning a little, if you were in TC2.
OR if the front wheel would have left the tarmac.

There has been a lot of talk about this and most feel it responds better
It's possible that the computer doesn't have to think about traction control and just responds faster.

Are you sure that it didn't get switched in to "S" also. Because THAT will make the engine responsive. (hold on tight) :))

You changed the traction control whilst underway??? That’s not supposed to be possible and I certainly can’t do that on my 2nd gen.

Ok, thought for a moment that maybe Yamaha had made an unannounced change.
