Do the CO settings change if the battery is disconnected?

I changed my factory CO settings to +3 for both cylinders and the bike seemed to run better.

Later, I put in a new battery. Bike was disconnected from battery for maybe 5 minutes while I did the battery swap.

Will my CO settings stay at +3 or revert to factory settings?

Hoping someone here will know the answer, because to check mine I'd have to remove the rear rack, pannier hangers, etc to check this...
