Thought I'd make a little thread to show what I did this morning.
I recently purchased a GoPro style action camera in preparation for my upcoming trip to Central Australia. After being unsatisfied with the bar included bar mount, I searched this forum and other places but couldn't find what I wanted so I decided to make it myself.
Starting with a piece of Aluminium square tube (40mm x 20mm because I'm metric), I drilled some holes 5mm for pinch bolts and 12.5mm for the mount bar.
Then some quick hacksaw work to cut the back off and a little filing and sanding for neatness
And then it is fitted.
Nice and compact, and solid! ::008::
In my head, this is all working perfectly! If it all goes wrong I'll let you know :'(
