Display question?

Hello all,
Took your advice and grabbed that 2014 left over
And it is sweet, thanks for that bit of help.
My new question is it normal the display makes a
Noise at start up?
I've searched around could find anything
On that seems like it growels a bit!

I'm no tech expert, but being digital the display should not be making any noise at all. Are you not hearing something else. like the fuel pump priming? or on start up the cam chain, that rattles for 2-3 seconds on start up.......

are you hearing the display or the fuel pump? the fuel pump will make a whine noise when you first turn on the key to pressurize the fuel system.

Actually just checked it again its at the same time as the fuel pump
but just under neath the display, not sure what that is but its not the display, sorry!

If its an ES, the servos on top of the forks make some noise when you turn the key as they rotate into position.

Turn the kill switch to off and then turn the key on. That will stop the fuel pump from turning on and priming the system. Now you should be able to isolate the sound further.
