I have a 2012 with 12,000 miles. I bought it last fall with 5,000 miles. Recently I've had intermitant problems with down shifting into 2nd and 1st gears. The shifter feels as if it is already in 1st gear although it is in 3rd or 2nd. It does not seem to make a difference whether or not the bike has just been started or is well warmed up. The clutch seems to be adjusted well. The issue does seem to be more likely to happen if the down shifts are happening relatively rapidly as compared to having a bit more time between shifts. The bike is still under warranty, but my nearest dealer is about 100 miles away, so I'd like as much info as possible about possible causes before heading that way. Any informed thoughts will be appreciated.
