Just curious, the dealer said Yamaha would inquire about your new purchase in a few days to make sure it was satisfactory. Haven't heard anything in 2 weeks.

How about you guys? Standard practice or BS?

I want to give them an ear-full

I got a survey from Yamaha regarding the dealer but nothing about the bike itself that I can recall.

I got my 2014 standard last October/November, can't quite remember. Anyway, I don't remember hearing from Yamaha, I've been enjoying the bike to much to remember.

I received satisfaction surveys from Yamaha on both the purchase of my 2012 and 2014 Super Teneres as well as when I had warranty service. They were for the purpose of feedback on how well the dealer handled both the sales process and the warrant process. Each time I could reply either by returning the hard copy survey letter or by going on line to fill out the survey. I did them on line each time and as soon as I submitted them I was able to print out a personalized coupon that was good for $10 off of a purchase of any Yamaha parts or accessories. Each time I used those coupons for discounts on oil and filters.

Like others, when I purchased my Super Tenere's, within about six weeks or so, I received a survey by mail.
