Hey all. I recently got involved in another organized ride/racing group and I am having more fun than I should. I started mini-supermoto racing with a kx85 sporting marchesini red bull rookie cup wheels. The confidence that I have on the road after two weekends of practice and races has improved rather dramatically. after the initial investment, a season will require 1-2 sets of tires and 2 gallons of gas for a half day of practice and a race day. You may have two freshen the motor up depending on its performance index. Besides that, it is a BLAST. If there is anyone in the midwest interested in checking it out locally, www.nwgpracing.com is the group I am riding with.

As for off road skills, this marks the second year I am doing an enduro ride with the kettle moraine sport riders. These types of rides are put on by off road trail riding groups with a focus on a fun day with friends, bikes, and food. they are about 100 miles long and are a blast. Most of the groups plan their rides so that they dont interfere with each other so that they can travel to each other's enduro rides. These are a hoot with friends, are a good way to hone skills (on a smaller bike, making a good reason to own more bikes), and low risk and involve you riding at your pace.

Hope to see some of you out there having as much fun as I am.
