Spent the next night at cotton hot springs soak the old bodies at Buena Vista. The next day was the sand pit. When we arrived we found somebody had made a bad choice. To get that out had to cost. The stock tires and my lack of sand skills I only got about 1/2 way
and got turned back. Jeff made it mark and I rode around. I will go back this year with good tires and give it a try. On to Hangerman pass out side Leadville. On the other side we headed back into the back country the wild flowers we great due to all the rain we had.

That was a nice reminder of the ride! I want to get back soon and do that area between Deloris and Telluride, that was surprising nice looking area. AND do more camping along the way and cooking REAL chow for supper.

It's been too cold and roads covered with ice/snow to get out. As soon as I get a weekend with no ice/snow on the street I plan to get out and get the fluids going on my big blue girl. Even if it's on the straight roads NE of Denver and only for an hour it'll be fun.
