Hi Everyone

Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa.

I bought my S10 about ten months ago and do a fair amount of night riding. So on a recent trip to the US I brought back a set of Denali D2 lights.

Instead of splicing any wiring, I used a 3-pin Sumitomo MT Sealed connector (the standard Yamaha fog lamp connector, ordered from Eastern Beaver to connect the kit to the lighting and power circuits of the bike. The lights are installed in the standard fog lamp position using the SW-Motech Auxiliary Light Mount for the S10 which can be ordered along with the light kit.

I installed using Option 2 (no low beam), so the lights are on full beam when switched on.

The only machining I had to do was to widen the Motech mounting bracket hole by 1 mm so that the Denali hinge screw could fit properly - otherwise the hole is too small for the hinge screw provided with the kit.

Here's the result - as you can see these lamps are really visible in bright sunlight. The lamps use the narrow 20 Degree "Euro Driving Beam Pattern" .

At night they really make a difference, lighting up the road and verges.

Highly recommended.
