boy was I glad to get back in the saddle of my S10 afterwards. Aside from having radios on most of the models I rode, good cruise control, and gear shift indicators, I can't say much else positive about the brand. The heat coming from the Vision and the Cross Country were unbearable. I will never complain about the heat on the left side of my 10 after riding in the blast furnace from that 106 cubic inch air cooled hot box. Also the gearboxes sounded like hammers hitting an anvil when shifting and when there were 14 of us sitting at stop lights and everyone shifted into 1st it was like a line of jack hammers hitting at once. The one model I rode had a 250mm rear tire and although I've had big tire bikes in the past this thing would not turn no matter how much steering input I applied it fought me the whole way and with no windshield at highway speeds the wind force was on a level of a NASA wind tunnel. I can add one positive in that the seats were very comfortable on the Vision and CC models. All in all it was a good day the weather was great I was with good friends and we met some good folks in the group. Any day riding is a good day even on sub par cicles.

PS the storage space in the side boxes of the Vision was almost non-existent.

I came to my Tenere from a Victory Hammer, 106 / 260 rear tire etc

Love that bike still......I never had the heat problem you describe, but the lack of windshield was for sure no fun at times

As for cornering/steering it's definitely a bit different and takes some getting use to, just have to learn to lean back on the back tire as you throw the bike over into a turn

Not saying you are wrong in your experience, just relaying mine. I see myself getting another Vic in the next couple of years but it won't be my commuter, that's where the Tenere comes in
