Demo Rides Houston Texas 4/9/11 - Tejas Motorsports

Just wanted to let everyone know that Tejas Motorsports in Highlands TX (about 20 miles east of Houston) has one for demo rides today. I got there early this morning and took it out for a lead 14 mile loop through some back roads in Highlands. I'm 6'5 so I had the seat in the high position and had no issues flat footing the pavement. The bike sat very well and felt very balanced while sitting and in the turns.

I rode most of the test ride in sport mode and I though the acceleration out of the corners and stops was very good. It felt a little sluggish in touring mode, but I kind of expected it to.
All in all I'm very happy I ordered one and cant wait till it gets here.

No test ride for me, tooooo much work at home to take care of. :'(
I purchased a 1986 Fazer and a 1999 4x4 ATV from that franchise when it was in downtown Highlands.

Did they have many riders signed up for rides?

Thank you for the welcome. I order the Black one and that's what they had at the Demo today. It looked pretty sharp, riding it today just made me all that more excited to get mine... sucks that I have to wait till July though!
