Well I got my letter today and had a talk with my salesman too.
The dealership thanked me for hanging in there and like my dealer, I remain optimistic that some of the orders will start rolling in long before November.
My salesman claims Yamaha likes to be cautious (even in good times) and would rather deliver your bike earlier than announced rather than the other way around.
One point that was emphasized was that because of those who have bailed out, the rest will be moved up in the pecking order.
So I say to all keep the faith, wish the Japanese a speedy recovery, and who knows we may all be pleasantly surprised in the months ahead.
